Why Local Networking Still Matters
I’m thrilled to share that I’ve recently become a member of LeTip of Mechanicsburg, PA, a professional networking group right here in our community. As someone who has always believed in the power of local connections, joining LeTip feels like a natural step. I’m excited to get to know more of my fellow Central Pennsylvania business owners and find new ways to support each other’s growth. This personal milestone isn’t just about me adding another meeting to my calendar—it’s about deepening my commitment to our local business community and making a meaningful impact through collaboration.
The Power of LeTip Networking for Local Projects
In today’s business world, networking isn’t just about swapping business cards or quick handshakes—it’s about building genuine relationships. Especially in a tight-knit area like Central PA, who you know can make a real difference in what you can accomplish.
And in a time when so much of business communication is driven by AI-generated content and automated responses, personal relationships matter more than ever. People aren’t just looking for solutions—they’re looking for trust, authenticity, and human connection. That’s where networking shines. When you meet face-to-face with people in your community, share a meal, talk shop, and show up consistently, it builds a level of confidence no algorithm can replicate.
Through networking groups like LeTip, professionals come together to share leads, ideas, and encouragement. More importantly, we rally around each other’s meaningful local business projects—whether that means spreading the word about a new store opening or teaming up on a community event. By supporting each other, we end up supporting the whole community. That’s why I value networking—it creates a ripple effect of positivity and growth that goes far beyond a single coffee meeting or business referral.
From Big Cities to Central PA
Before planting roots in Camp Hill, PA, I spent a number of years living and working in larger cities (Washington, D.C., St. Louis, and San Diego). Each of these places had vibrant business scenes and taught me valuable lessons about innovation, diversity, and the importance of community support. But no matter how exciting big-city life was, I found myself drawn back to Central Pennsylvania. There’s a special kind of satisfaction in working to uplift the community that raised you. For me, the question became: how can Cross Creative better serve the Central PA community I call home?
After experiencing the hustle and bustle of those metropolitan areas, I knew I wanted to bring the best of what I learned back home. With Cross Creative, my goal has always been to help local businesses shine—to give Central PA the same level of creative strategy and design expertise that big markets enjoy. Joining LeTip Mechanicsburg is one more way I’m investing in that mission. It connects me with like-minded professionals here at home, so together we can leverage big ideas for our local projects.
LeTip Mechanicsburg Chapter for Local Business
One of the reasons I was drawn to the Mechanicsburg chapter of LeTip is because it’s brand new and buzzing with potential. This chapter only launched in late 2024, and it’s steadily growing ever since. We’re a friendly, motivated group of entrepreneurs and professionals who meet regularly (over breakfast at the Wertzville Diner) to share leads and learn about each other’s businesses. The energy in the room is contagious—you can tell everyone is genuinely invested in helping one another succeed.
Because the Mechanicsburg chapter is still in its early days, we’re actively looking to welcome new members. In LeTip, each member represents a different industry or specialty, so we’re especially eager to meet professionals in fields we haven’t filled yet. If you’ve been thinking about getting more involved in the local business scene, now is the perfect time to visit one of our meetings. Not only will you get a warm welcome, but you’ll also have the chance to become a founding influence in a growing chapter—and that’s a pretty exciting opportunity!

Calling All Central PA Professionals to LeTip
If you’re a professional in Mechanicsburg or the greater Harrisburg/Central PA area, I’d love to extend a personal invitation for you to join us for a LeTip meeting. Maybe you’re a local business owner, freelancer, or entrepreneur looking to expand your reach—this is a great way to do it. When you visit, you’ll get to introduce yourself, learn more about how we pass referrals, and see firsthand how supportive and dynamic our group is.
Joining a networking chapter might sound like a big commitment, but in my experience so far, it’s absolutely worth it. You’ll develop genuine relationships with people who become your unofficial sales force—and you’ll become theirs. We meet once a week for about an hour, and that time is really an investment in growing your business. Plus, it’s fun! We share success stories, celebrate each other’s wins, and even enjoy a few laughs to start our day.
Interested in checking it out? Feel free to reach out to me directly, and I can provide the details about our next meeting. Or, if you prefer, simply show up as a guest—we’re a welcoming bunch. By the end of the meeting, don’t be surprised if you’re already planning to come back the next week.
Let’s Work Together
Aside from my LeTip news, I also want to remind everyone that Cross Creative is here to help your business tell its story. One of the biggest reasons I joined LeTip is because I believe in the strength of local businesses supporting one another. In that spirit, if your company or project could use a hand with branding, graphic design, or standing up a website, I’m here to help.
Having spent years honing creative skills in different cities and now bringing them home to Central PA, I understand both the bigger picture and the local landscape. Whether you’re launching a new venture, looking to refresh your brand, or trying to reach a broader audience in our area, let’s chat about how Cross Creative can support your goals. Collaboration is at the heart of what I do—and now that I’m part of a networking group that thrives on collaboration, I’m more inspired than ever to put those skills to work for the community.
Thank you for sharing in my news and for being part of what makes Central Pennsylvania such a great place to do business. I’m looking forward to the new relationships and projects that will grow out of this LeTip chapter. Stay tuned for more updates on our journey, and as always, let’s find ways to succeed together right here at home.

Young
Those seasons of coaching weren’t just about baseball. They were about character and community. I’ve seen this league bring families together, form lifelong friendships, and teach lessons that stretch far beyond the game. Through big wins, tough losses, rain delays, and playoff pushes, I’ve watched our Camp Hill Little League family rally together in ways that have made a lasting impact on me—and on all of us at Cross Creative.
